It is very important to discover one‘s own personality, because this gives a chance to find one' s character and also to recover one' s spiritual relationship to God. Personality can be classified into 9 types by the Enneagram. According to Riso and Hudson(1996), the Enneagram is a universal psychological symbol, one which can accomodate many different interpretations while retaining its unique character. T hat is, the Enneagram classification system purports that no one underlying theory or theoreticale xplanation is the basis for how and why the Enneagram system works. The Enneagram offers useful information about individual personality and helps to potentially improve the psychological therapy. The Enneagram helps Christians to perceive God and to understand his love to people. Therefore we should never think that the change in personality can be done only by a man' s will or that we Christians can get some energy for our life only through the Enneagram. We should always keep in mind that only the almighty God has the ability to give us spiritual power and experiences through the Holy Spirits. There are many people in the Bible, who changed their whole lives in God and experienced the Holy Spirit. The people in the Bible believed in God, overcame their life stressors through the Holy Spirits, and recovered the image of the God. This gives us Christian good information to improve overall quality of lifea nd to grow in the Spirit.
In this thesis some people in the Bible are selected and classified into 9 types of the Enneagram. It is studied how they recovered the image of God through their lives. Especially, this thesis stressed upon how they were changed spiritually before God and which fruits of the Holy Spirits they have borne. In Chaper 2 some characters of the Enneagram are included, while the Chapter 3 covers the Enneagram power triad and 9 Enneagram types. In the Chapter 4, it is mentioned about the understanding of the inside of human- being through the Enneagram, Self- perceiving and training, spiritiual praying and the 9 fruits of the Holy Spirits, i.e. love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self- control. In Chapter 5, the 9 Enneagram types of some important people in the Bible were selected and studied, which fruits of the Holy Spiritst hey have borne.
This thesis give good examples on the people of 9 Enneagram types and suggest us how we have to live in God and with God. When we be art he fruits of the Holy Spirits in our lives, the work of the Holy Spirits will be fulfilled with us, as the P eoplein the Bible.
