This study shows the educational effects from Vipāssāna. First, I studied the educational effects through preceding studies and documents, specially I studied the effects improving learning and changing human personality from 'Vipāssāna'.
First of all, I made a description about an understanding of meditations , especially Sati(mindfulness), Ānāpānasati(breathing practices of Buddist meditation) in cattāro satipaţţhānā(Four Foundations of Mindfulness) that is a general idea and a special feature and a process of mind-awareness to widen understanding of Buddhistic meditation.
The goal of Vipāssāna is being free from an buddhistic agony and pain through realization from Sati.
The method of Vipāssāna meditation insights the phenomenon of the mind, what you experience in your body, feeling, mind, appearance through Anāpanā, It is not too much to say that Anāpanā is all in Buddhistic meditation. Anāpanā means observation of the breath flow.
The human mental health and psychological phenomenon were made of mind-awareness action in mind. The mind-awareness process is called 12 places. It means that you can understand your mind from 12 places.
I describe the meaning and educational effects of western psycho therapy and Vipāssāna.
The western psychotherapy, the Cognitive Behavior Therapy, started in the last 1960s, was using control strategy techniques against the anxiety and depression symptoms.
But, there was an issue that the western psychotherapy methods which are being adhered to various negative symptoms are not being effective.
As regarding a limit of western psycholotherapy with the origins of the mind, it is considered that the agony and torment can be conquered completely by Vipāssāna meditation of Buddhistic sphere.
I have ascertained that the Buddhistic meditation is effective for the learning, that is, not only for a power of concentration but also for a power of memory and creation in preceding studies. Especially, I've found effectiveness about an improverment in learning and a change in human personality from Sati, one of the representative kinds in Vipāssāna meditation.
It is valuabe if we apply Vipāssāna meditation to various ways in our society.I
First, if we put Vipāssāna meditation to practical use in school, students may have stabilities in their mind. And they will have adaptiveness, concentration and the power of memory in schoolworks so they will get competitive powers in competition for entrance exams.
Second, if we put Vipāssāna meditation to practical use in home management, we will get stability in mind, eliminating anger, concentration and the power of memory. So the household members can get happiness with communication.
Third, If employees and employer applies the Vipāssāna meditation, They can improve their work performance by the effect of concentration , creation, and adapts themselves to their environment well by conquering anger and adherence. Also, the effect improves employer's which on wisdom and humanity.
In conclusion, Through the Vipāssāna meditation, We can have various educational effects, and it will be most useful that apply those educational effects to one's school, job, home widely.
