The purpose of this paper is to discover the method that Christian women who have had suppressed and silenced anger to be able to express it adequately and use it as an energy to change their lives. This paper is based on recognizing women' s experience which is the fundamental of feminine counseling. Since women were oppressed and isolated from society traditionally, counseling that is not based on women' s experience is hard to say it is helping and caring only with faith.
The process for this paper is as following. First, write a simplified overview about anger based on psychological understanding with research as a base work for feminine counseling about anger. General understanding of anger will provide a basic knowledge about understanding Christian women' s latent anger. Second, through many scholars' opinion on female development, understand the difference between male and female development and look for ways to express anger on women' s point of view. Women experience and recognize anger in different way of men which is when women go through late-childhood. Next, through phenomenological research, listen women' s voice and, within the voice, understand the essence of anger from women' s anger experience, relationship between image of Christian women and anger, and the solution for anger,
Based on the process above, take a close look on women' s position and life in both the bible and Confucianism in Korea culture, and show how dualistic thinking of traditional theology has contributed in strengthening the suppression of women.
Based on this understanding and through women in bible, Christian women in Korea will find the meaning of self-sacrifice love which will help recognize the latent anger and express it adequately.
Lastly, find the positive meaning of self-sacrifice love and the way of practicing of managing women' s anger.
Anger is not a thing that should be suppressed, but should be expressed healthy and adequately. Christian women need to use their anger properly and friendly, not negatively and such anger surely has power to change women' s life. As suppressed anger initiate a positive change, it will bring the greater effect on family, church group, and the relationship with others.
