This study is about the parents' awareness on school sports club activity, and as an object of this study, we arranged 164 people by a cluster random sampling that were composed of parents of 4th, 5th and 6th grade students who have participated in Elementary school sports club in Gangwon area in 2012.
The research tools for this study are as follows. We reorganized the expert opinions by modification and complement based on the survey of Son (2003), Kim(2005) to meet the purpose of the study.
For data processing, we computerized through SPSS Windows 18.0 Version for the purpose of analysis.
The conclusion of this study through the process is as follows.
First, the difference between the necessity of school sports club and role cognition of parents indicated partially.
Second, the difference of parents' the necessity cognition about school sports club exclusive teacher indicated partially.
Third, the difference of parents' cognition about school sports club didn't indicate.
