I. Introduction
In every government, we have continued opposition and reconciliation in relationship with North Korea and made a ceaseless effort for the reunification between North Korea and South Korea even through there difference in terms of the method on all such administration. Not only that, but realized and prepared.
The police, one of government agency, think that the asking question about what we should do the role th provide for reunification between North and South is timely.
This thesis would consider, compare the police organization of North and South and draw a difference. Also, it analyzes police integration case of other nation like the Germany so, find the implication and excogitate unified police scheme of democratic system construction. Moreover, it suggest direction of united police by considering possible crime by categories and outlook for public safety after reunification.
The second chapter examiner police system of North and South Korea in aspects of organization, personnel affair, deucation and function.
In the third chapter, regardless of the from reunification, the police should be the one who serves the nation while protecting the people's body and property and maintaining public peace and order. Therefore, the chapter examine that direction of the role should be bases on democracy and neutrality in terms of protection of liberal democracy.
The fourth chapter mention that political and economic change resulted from the reunification cannot help having a profound effect on crime by change social structure even, so it deals with possible crime and perspective of public order against the sudden social unrest caused by opening system and abolition of regulation system after unification. Furthermore, we can realize for political neutrality of united police, implement of local police system, balanced development of North and South Korea police, reinforcement for cooperation and inspection, reform of awareness of North Korea police and pro and promotion for nation-friendly activity are urgently needed.
In the fifth chapter, while summarizing the research result, studying the role of united police is related to the future of united police, so we determine once more thar all of this should be considered in aspects of maintenance of national life, protection of property and public order.
This thesis would be insufficient in that it researches for North Korea, so face with the Limit as to on-spot investigation or materials.
