In this study, the revisit intention of tourists who visit cultural and historical attraction is verified based on the extended theory of planned behavior. The specific purpose of this study is as follows.
First of all, to clarify what makes tourists revisit intention using the extended theory of planned behavior, which is appropriate to examine the continuous action.
In other words, the relation between attitude, subjective norm, perceived control and revisit intention would be verified in this study.
Second, to strengthen the explanation for this research model by extending the satisfaction in theory of planned behavior.
Lastly, to verify the moderating effect of nostalgia proneness in the extended theory of planned behavior.
In this study, the survey was targeted at the tourists who have visited the Daegu alley tour at least more than once. 286 valid samples were used to analyze data with AMOS and SPSS. The results were as follows.
It is found that Attitude, subjective norm, perceived control, and satisfaction have a significant impact on the revisit intention. Especially subjective norm is the most influential variable between them.
Furthermore, when the group having higher nostalgia proneness are satisfied with their experiences in the Daegu alley tour, they have more revisit intention. Through these results, theoretical and practical implications are derived.
