사를 기반으로 사례 연극을 위한 간단한 극시스템과,연기자인터페이스를 구성 설계과정을 기술하고 있다/ .Physical interfaces and interactive storytellinghave ben aplied to many of digital games andinteractive drama based on virtual realitysimilar to games. Together with this ituation,it is general that he Korean performing artproducers are also creating the multimediatheatre by thoroughly utilizing media technologyin o r d e r t o b e f r e e f r o m t h e c o n f i n e o f t h etraditional theatre. The multimedia theatre canroughly exist in two forms: the theatre basedon the interaction between multimedia theatresystems and performers, and the theatre basedon the interaction between performers andaudiences through multimedia theatre systems. This paper will discus potentials of theproduction methodology for the multimediatheatre by introducing the proces of anexample work, , a scene ofthe play [Gaedong-e206], written andproduced by Kim, MinGe, a Korean artist andsinger. The multimedia theatre based on theinteraction betwen performers and multimediasystems, diferent from the traditional theatre, also needs the non-linear narative to which istranslated from the original linear story. Thisresearch sugests Finite State Machine as apractical methodology for the translation. Basedon the converted narative, this paper showsthe procedure of designing a simple system forthe multimedia theatre and a physical interfacefor a performer.(Keyword)multimedia theatre, physical interface,
