Most person suffixes in Korean-Chinese characters were derived from china, but some of them came indirectly from Japan. Therefore, knowing the function of Chinese person suffixes is good to understand the semantic function of Korean-Chinese. Person suffixes ‘-자(者), -가(家), -인(人), -사(?)'. By using the method of contrastive linguistics, the person suffixes’ similarities and differences of both countries can be revealed. Through the research about the 4 person suffixes’ basic meaning and additional meaning(This research paper just pay attention to the 3 syllables derivatives), the [+technical professionalism] and [+polite form] in semantic meaning express a completely different attribute while in [+knowledge professionalism] they show the same meaning. Korean ‘-자’ is corresponded to Chinese ‘-者’,’-家’ and Korean ‘-인’ is corresponded to Chinese ‘-人’, ‘者’, ‘-家.
The semantic area of ‘-자’ and ‘-인’ is wider than ‘-가’ and ‘-사’ in Korean. In addition, in the semantic level of [+polite form], Chinese person suffix ‘-?’ is more polite than Korean ‘-사’ while Korean ‘-자’ is more polite than Chinese ‘-者.
