This paper analyses the economic effects of Korean exports to partner countries by using the input-output analysis. Since normal input-output table does not have Korean export to partner countries, this paper builds a new input-output table that has Korean exports to 10 partner countries. By using the new I-O table, effects of production inducement, add-value inducement, employment inducement and import inducement are analyzed.
The results show that Korean exports to the developing countries are not as good as those to the developed countries. Korean exports to developing countries such as Indonesia and Singapore have the higher import inducements and the lower production inducement and the low employment inducement. In order to increase the economic effects of exports on Korean economy, Korea is required to analyze the export structure to developing countries in Asia.
