This paper has the objective of estimating the effects of foreign direct investment on productivity, employment and investment with firm level data withdrawn from Kis-value database. We defined foreign direct investment companies alternately as the registered companies and as the companies of which total share of foreign shareholders is more than 10%. The results based on each definition were compared later and found to converge to each other. In addition, we estimated not only direct effects but also indirect effects explicitly. The indirect effects consist of intra-industry and inter-industry effects. According to estimation results, conventional variables determining the productivity, employment and investment of firms have the expected signs and are statistically significant. On the other hand, the FDI related variables gave the results disappointing to the proponents of FDI-led growth. As for the variable representative of direct effects of FDI, when it has positive sign it's not statistically significant. And when it's statistically significant, it has negative sign. These results are analogous in each of three estimations, that is the effects on the productivity, employment and investment. As far as the indirect effects are concerned, the presence of FDI in the same industry or up-stream industry has more or less positive effects, but the presence of FDI in down-stream industry has the negative effects.
