We report the SHRIMP zircon 207Pb/206Pb ages of zircon from four basaltic eucrites (Bereba, Igdi, Juvinas and Millbillillie) in order to elucidate the crystallization age of basaltic volcanism and later thermal event on eucrite parent body (EPB). Zircons in the eucrites occur as subhedral to euhedral shape with less than 10㎛ in size. These grains do not show any compositional variation under cathodoluminescence and back-scattered electron images. Their Th/U ratios and U concentrations are in the range of 0.15-3.34 and 31-104 ppm, respectively, which is consistent with typical U concentration of eucrites(50-100 ppm). Some spot analysis data plot on the concordia curve suggesting closed U-Pb system of zircons. Most spot analysis data, however, show reverse discordancy due to the presence of excess radiogenic Pb. Weighted mean 207Pb/206Pb age of Igdi and Millbillillie is 4544±12 (n=5, MSWD=0.22, Probability=0.92), whereas those of Bereba and Juvinas is 4524±16 Ma (n=4, MSWD=0.32, Probability=0.81) which is indistinguishable from Igdi and Millbillillie within error range. With small number of spot age data, it is not evident if 207Pb/206Pb ages from four basaltic eucrites represent the crystallization of initial basalt on EPB, prolonged basaltic volcanism, or later thermal disturbance due to impacting on EPB.
