The purpose of this study is to analyze factors influencing public service satisfaction in Gwanakgu. The key findings are as follows. First, service quality in both child-care centers and community centers, is classified into 4 categories: facility environment, operational management, human resources, and programs. Second, the analysis showed that public service satisfaction was positively associated with each aspect of service quality. Third, child-care centers certified by the government showed significantly lower levels of satisfaction than child-care centers without certification. There might be a disparity in the evaluation between experts and citizens. Finally, this study found that child-care service satisfaction affects voting behavior, indicating that higher satisfaction is related to more voter participation.
