This treatise being that arts and cultural education makes people find their potential
creativity and tries humanities approach, and eventually applies methodology of arts and
cultural education. For this, philosophy of Ernst Bloch and Maurice Merleau-Ponty which
is required on a ‘self-discovery’ step is examined, “The Clemente Course in the
Humanities” by Earl Shorris is applied on a point that development to social relations
from self-discovery. Furthermore, the concept of creative city and creative class by
Charles Landry and Richard Florida is applied on arts and cultural education to make
its value clear. Therefore this treatise suggests that anyone can lead their life having
creative identity by arts and cultural education and also how to change themselves and
society in social relations.
