The employee's individual personality types(MBTI) influences his behaviors in conducting his job. This study examines the employee's personality types(MBTI), job behaviors and organizational performance in Korean local governments. For the purpose of this study, the survey research was conducted in April, 2009. The research participants were 488 persons who work in Chung Nam local governments comprised of 16 cities and counties. More specifically, this study analyzes the decision making styles of the employee's personality types(MBTI), the differences of various job behaviors among the employee's MBTI decision making styles, and the effects of the job satisfaction, job stress, and organizational commitment of the employees on the organization's performance. The result indicates that the employee's MBTI decision making styles are considered in managing employee's job behaviors in order to improve the organizational performances in Korean local governments.
