According to the analysis of this study, 2,431 activities are found in the revised art curriculum 2008 for special school. These activities are classified into 161 subtype activities, such as communication, perception-cognition, imitation, operation-related activities, etc.
The most noted activity is related to ‘operation.’ In addition, there were many kinds of activities that are connected with the development of children. The diversity of activities is the distinctive characteristic of the curriculum. It clearly shows the latent importance of the curriculum as an education and a therapy for children with special needs. By considering the factors of activities in the curriculum and providing individualized activities, the meaning of curriculum can be extended and it can play a key role as an integrated subject.
