『몽골비사(蒙古秘史)』에 나타나는 숫자 3과 9의 용례를 통해 역사적으로 3과 9에 어떤 상징성을 담았는가를 살펴본 결과는 다음과 같다.

The number 1 is used a cooperation and reinforcement on the positive aspects. Also it is used in the negative meaning such as ‘alone, destroy, weaken’. The number 4 is used in a spatial and geographic symbolism that has some meanings such as the loyalty and trust. The number 7 is used a spatial and temporal symbolism as well. The tale has the negative meaning of ‘worse, backwardness, poverty’. The number 13 is associated with the tradition of shamanism that it is the best divine nature with the ethnic symbol.
Through 『The Secret History of the Mongolia』 as shown the examples of the numbers on the 3 and 9, the numbers on the 3 and 9 historically discussed what they mean to include for meaning of symbolism.
