The Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreemen(ACTA) is a new inter- national of intellectual property enforcement which was proposed in form of so-called a TRIPs-plus agreement for the more detailed and higher protection of intellectual property by developed countries dissatisfied with TRIPs. The participants of negotiations, which began in June 2008, include the United States, the European Union, Japan, Republic of Korea, Australia, Canada, Mexico, Morocco, New Zealand, Singapore and Switzerland. ACTA aims to establish international standard for enforcing intellectual property rights in order to more effectively fight against the growing problem of counterfeiting and piracy. To this end ACTA have four primary components: "legal framework for enforcement of intellectual property rights(civil enforcement, criminal enforcement, enforcement of intellectual property rights in the digital environment etc.), enforcement practices, international cooperation, institutional arrangements". Main discussion is focused on the injunction, damages, provisional measures, ex officio criminal enforcement, limitations on the liability of online service providers, technological measures.
