TonfidenceoThis study was designed to set a direction for planning cities in Dongnam Distribution. In particular, inclination to move and determinants of residential mobility within an economic region were analyzed. The result said that one of the most important reason for moving came from dissatisfaction with education. This indicated that education could be an element to pull in residents toward neighborhood as well as to push them out. In addition, transportation condition played a decisive role in moving between regions. This result could be considered as a clear example of revealing the importance of regional transportation system because various functions of cities like industries were closely related to other regions. Therefore, the imbalance between regions would be intensified in the future caused by selective moving, which arouse from the gap of infrastructures such as educational disappointment and lack of regional transportation system. To relieve this problem, solutions for small cities are necessary.
