The purpose of this article is to examine critically Rawls’s arguments that the justice can be harmonized with individual good in the well-ordered society, where is regulated by the two principles of justice. Rawls’s strategy is depended upon the positive possibility of the following four discussions ; autonomy and objectivity, the good of the social union, the unity of the self, and the good in the thin theory and the moral sense. According to Rawls, the people in the well-ordered society have a shared end that leads them to the social cooperation, and have the moral sense that makes them be a moral personalty. Accordingly, in that society, the people’s conception of the good is compatible with the conception of the justice of the society. Rawls’s arguments, however, are based upon two-main philosophical assumptions: Kantian interpretation and Aristotelian principle. But these assumptions are just the parts of Rawls’s individual beliefs that are still controversial.
