The purpose of study was to assess the effect of Gang Gang Sool Rae exercise on cardiorespiratory fitness and health-related quality of life in elderly women. For this experiment, 23 elderly women were selected and classified as the exercise group participated in this study (n=12) and the control group (n=11), then conducting 12 weeks Gang Gang Sool Rae on exercise group. Body composition was evaluated using bioelectrical impedance cardiorespiratory fitness was measure using a metabolic cart and had a V·O₂peak. Quality of life used to questionnaires. In conclusion, 12 weeks Gang Gang Sool Rae exercise, body composition, cardiorespiratory fitness and health-related quality of life in elderly women were improved positively. However, because of having not made an analysis on health-related physical factors of the elderly in physical fitness variables, it seems somewhat not enough to present the effects of exercise, therefore, further studies, through the analysis of exercise effects on physical fitness factors of elderly women, clearly, Gang Gang Sool Rae exercise need to show the effect on the health-related physical fitness in the elderly.
