The purpose of this research is to identify relationship and differences of effect on sociality and internal-external control of professional athletes, who went to middle and high school under the educational rights violation and not being able to escape that reality even in college, with general students, who live in dorms.
To accomplish the purpose of this research, 383 students of professional athletes and general students, who live in dorms due to immersive boarding program, of college in Kyungi Do, Suwon were used for the actual analysis. Questionnaire was used for data collection, and statistical method that was used to analyze collected data were t-test, One-way ANOVA, and Multiple Moderating Regression analysis. The following results were drawn from such research methods and procedures.
First, there are significant statistical difference between professional athletes and general students on sociality. In other word, professional athletes have higher reliability, autonomy, leadership, diligence, and law abiding.
Secondly, there are significant statistical difference between professional athletes and general students on internal-external control. Meaning, professional athletes have higher internal control that take responsibility of the cause of what happened to them than general students.
Thirdly, there are some statistical differences in relation and influence on relationship and effect between sociability and internal-external control. Meaning, lower the leadership, professional athletes showed propensity to external control, on the other hand, general students showed propensity to external control when diligence was lower.
