본 연구는 비만 남자 대학생을 대상으로 유전자 다형성에 따라 나타나는 운동효과를 검정하여 남성 비만자의 치료와 예방을 위한 기초 자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 이러한 목적을 위해 26명의 비만 남자 대학생을 대상으로 FTO rs9939609 Polymorphism 분석을 통해 AA+AT 집단 10명, TT 집단 16명으로 독립표집(independence sample)하고, 12주간 댄스스포츠 운동 후 신체구성과 혈중지질을 비교분석하였다. 신체구성의 변화에서 fat%와 BMI는 TT유전자 집단이 AA+AT유전자 집단보다 운동처치기간이 증가함에 따라 통계적으로 유의하게 감소하였다(p〈.05). 혈중지질에서 HDL-C 변인은 TT유전자 집단이 AA+AT유전자 집단보다 운동처치기간이 증가함에 따라 통계적으로 유의하게 증가하였고(p〈.05), LDL-C는 TT유전자 집단이 통계적으로 유의하게 감소하였다(p〈.05).This study sampled obese male college students with above 27 of BMI who were attending to W university, I city of Jeollabukdo and obtained independence sample with 10 of AA+AT and 16 of TT according to obesity gene polymolphism. The exercise program was given four times a week for 12 weeks with the following intensities: 45~55%HRmax for 1~6 weeks and 55~65%HRmax for 7~12 weeks. After the dance sport program, the study analysed changes of variables, Body composition and Blood lipids and the results are presented as follows:
First, At the change of body composition, the rate of body fat and BMI decreased in TT gene group and AA+AT gene group as the period of exercise treatment became longer(p〈.05)
Second, At the change of blood lipid, HDL-C of TT gene group increased more than that of AA+AT gene group as the period of exercise treatment became longer and longer. On the other hand, LDL-C showed a tendency of a decrease in the statistics(p〈.05).
To sum up the results, AA+AT group with obesity genes received more influence from genes according to Body composition and Blood lipids than TT group. It is suggested that the variation according to FTO polymolphism should be considered for an exercise program, but future extensive studies are needed for more definite results.
