This study is aimed to verify myth of marine leisure programs, which recently draw attention to leisure participants as the way to nurture adolescent development. Based on Saussure and Barthes’ structural semiology, Greimas’ actant model were applied to find unconsciousness structure of program operators. In-depth interview were conducted with 8 respondents who have worked in Sea Explores of Korea. The narratives of respondents revealed that Sea (Sender) provides leisure program with the adolescent (Subject), aiming the educational purpose (Object) on the behalf of interest parties (Receiver). Also program coordinators (Helper) who are training the participants and leisure constrains (Opponent) are also found as antagonists. In similar vein, interviewee’s metaphors on actant turned into story or myth structure. The managerial significance and limitation of research were included.
