Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) was the method to compare importance and performance. Although the traditional IPA was commonly used to identify strategic priorities of a company due to its usefulness, its flaws were exposed. So a revised IPA correcting the traditional IPA’s faults was proposed. Therefore, this study used both methods to analyze IPA to propose an improvement plan for convention attendees’ importance and satisfaction. To collect data, we conducted surveys targeting attendees who participated in conventions. Traditional IPA and revised IPA were carried out with the data. It showed a different result according to method. At first, in the traditional IPA, among the eleven attributes, there were six variables inquadrant I, and three attributes in quadrant III, meaning the attributes were relatively concentrated. On the other hand, using Deng’s (2007) revised IPA, there were three attributes in quadrantⅠ, two attributes in quadrantⅡ, one attribute in quadrantⅢ and three attributes in quadrantⅣ.According to the meaning of each quadrant, we recognized the attributes to keep up the good work, to concentrate, to avoid low priorities and to reject overkill. According to the survey results, this research exposed that there were differences between the two methods and proposed improvements of convention satisfaction for attendees.
