In the early stages of the war, the army’s ammunition demand will be dramatically increased. The Army has to study the resilience of the supply chain. The purposes of this study is to design the supply chain and to suggest a model with the highest resilience. We developed some alternative models about the supply chain which were based on feasibility with military expert interview. We tested the performances like robustness, agility and survivability.
Test results are as follows. The first, the elimination strategy wasn’t effective. The second, using emergency channel has a positive impact on resilience. Especially, It is effective to use downstream rather than upstream. We suggest the resilience supply chain for ammunition with emergency line and expect this chain be applied.
This study is meaningful in that it has identified the negative impact of the application of the eliminate strategy of the Army ammunition supply chain on Resilience and applied the supply chain design of an effective emergency channel through the defense reform in the future
