The purpose of this study is to analyze the SEONBI cultural tourism resources of the MUSEONG SEOWON in order to overcome the crisis of COVID-19. Since the World Heritages represents authentic regional aspects of human history and culture, it can be used as a core element for cultural tourism resources development. The MUSEONG SEOWON is one of the nine Seowon World Heritage locations designated by UNESCO, representing a typical Neo-Confucian academy during the Joseon Dynasty from the mid-16th to mid-17th centuries. The SEONBI studied Neo-Confucian classics and literary works. their endeavor was understanding the universe and becoming ideal person through educational and social practices. SEONBI mindset can be defined as the main factor of the Korean traditional culture and the Korean people. To develop MUSEONG SEOWON SEONBI cultural resources this study suggests 4 basic elements, First, define the concept of SEONBI indeed, Second, Establish a marketing strategy with SEONBI cultural contents. Third, Educate SEONBI experts and raise professionals for the continuation and the last, Create regional SEONBI Cultural Brand Contents as a representative Korean traditional spiritual culture.
