As competition in the news market intensifies, the partisan propensity of articles is also more pronounced, and the objectivity of news is lost. In this paper, we analyzed the difference in attribute agenda setting strategies according to the conservative and liberal media during Korea's 20th presidential election in a quantitative way. To this end, ccLDA was conducted for candidate-related articles among presidential election-related articles, and semantic network analysis was conducted to understand the relationship between the attribute agenda and the formation of public opinion. The result of ccLDA showed that the media had different strategies for setting attribute agendas on ‘private issues of candidates’ and “family-related issue“. In the subsequent semantic network analysis, it was confirmed that the degree centrality and eigenvector centrality of the attribute agenda was changed in relation to the approval rate. This study contains the social implications of informing the need to secure the objectivity of news by quantitatively proving the partisanship of news media with the help of information technology.
