The purpose of this study is to produce a Korean nail art design that combines interesting elements after extracting traditional tiger patterns as a motif. Nail art design uses hand painting, objects, and knit techniques. Traditional tiger patterns were selected as stripes, spots, and circles through a review of previous papers, and these patterns were repeated and rearranged to produce Korean nail art designs (3 works) with beauty in the margins. A new nail art design (3 works) was completed by combining tiger patterns with primary colors, non-routine, and universal images, which are characteristics of interesting elements. This study suggests the possibility of developing Korean nail art design by proposing a Korean nail art design using tiger patterns and a nail art design that combines interesting elements, and is considered to be the basis for expanding the nail art design area.
