This study is a design thesis that presents the value of remodeling of obsolete office building using design plans through outer remodeling of work facilities using Erwin hauer's Design 201 as a form example. Based on the aging of the building, it was judged that the structure core of Samsung Main Building, which was completed in 1976, in Jung-gu, Seoul, was possible to remodel the outer shell and prototype. This study used the precast concrete method to analyze Erwin hauer's work to determine spatial potential, and adjusted the opening and size of the module through parameterization considering the construction technology of modern precast concrete, especially UHPC, and computer technology and parametric design methodology. As a result, the design plan is expected to contribute to the creation of brand value as well as to the profit and economic aspect of the office, which can quickly and economically remodel the quantitative increase of old buildings, which was mentioned as the need for outer remodeling. In addition, through the analysis of the works of sculptor Erwin Hauer in the 1950s, his work can be architecturally re-examined due to the development of technology over time, suggesting the possibility of the times that the form has.
