This study aims to analyze the operational status of base facilities in completed areas of the General Agricultural and Rural Area Development Project. For the purpose of the study, six district-level areas in Uiseong-Gun were analyzed via in-person interviews and field surveys, and the analyzed data was used via diagnostic indicators to identify each area’s operational situation. As a result of the study, factors contributing to excellent operations included active resident participation, differentiated district-level businesses, and district promotion. On the other hand, items contributing to inadequate operations included personnel shortages due to ageing and population decrease, lack of confidence in the management organization, and lack of communication. Hence, this study suggests directions for future training to enhance the operational capabilities of managing organizations, establishing a network between completed districts, and district-specialized content development.
