This study aimed to establish the practical measures for establishing the academic concept of beauty waxing, strengthening individual competencies, and improving job performance of beauty waxing workers, by understanding the structural relations of job characteristics, creativity, job engagement, and job performance of beauty waxing workers, and then verifying the effects of job characteristics on job performance and the effects of job characteristics on job performance with the mediation of creativity and job engagement of beauty waxing workers. For this study, a self-administered off-line survey was conducted targeting the beauty waxing service workers in Seoul and capital area. After collecting total 600 questionnaires, the results of data analysis were drawn as follows by utilizing the SPSS 24.0., AMOS 25.0. In the results of conducting the frequency analysis for understanding the demographic characteristics of research subjects. before verifying the hypotheses, the mean, standard deviation, skewness, and kurtosis were calculated by conducting the descriptive statistical analysis. By conducting the bootstrap for verifying the significance of structural equation result, the results were obtained as follows. There were influence relations such as positive(+) effects of job characteristics on creativity, positive(+) effects of job characteristics on job engagement, positive(+) effects of job characteristics on job performance, negative(-) effects of creativity on job performance, and positive(+) effects of job engagement on job performance of beauty waxing workers.
