This study aimed to develop a strategic approach to future wellness tourism activities in the Gyeongnam region by analyzing the importance of wellness tourism activities for tourists who have experienced wellness tourism in the Gyeongnam region. Factors of wellness tourism activities were classified into natural recreation activities, psychological meditation activities, food experience activities, and hot spring spa activities based on previous research. As a result of analysis using the hierarchical decision-making method(AHP), the importance measurement result showed that natural recreation activities were relatively the most important factor. In the order of importance derived, hot spring spa activities, psychological meditation activities, and food experience activities were found to be of high importance.
