N-Aryl pyrazole 구조를 가지는 화합물들은 항염제 등 다양한 의약활성을 가지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 N-Aryl pyrazole fused bicyclic system을 구축하였다. Phenylhydrazine을 출발물질로 하여 SN2 reaction, cyclization, desulfurization을 통해 N-Aryl pyrazole 모티브를 구축할 수 있었다. 핵심 반응은 fused bicyclic system을 구축하는데 필요한 C-Cl 결합의 형성과 LDA를 이용한 염기조건하의 cyclization을 포함한다. 아민을 이용하여 여러 유도체를 합성하였다.
