초록보기

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of touching and playing with natural objects through outside play time on children's creativity and emotional intelligence. To achieve this goal, the experimental group consisted of 10 free play activities using natural objects that infants can do, so that they can properly experience various areas such as body, art, and science. In addition, children in the control group planned and played at the same time as the experimental group as an outside play activity, and the teacher guided them through observation and encouragement so that all infants could participate in the outside play. Through this, in order to examine the effects of free play activities using natural objects on the creativity and emotional intelligence of infants, we examined the creativity and emotional intelligence tests of the experimental and control groups through two groups of pre- and post-tests. The main research results and conclusions are summarized as follows.

First, it was found that the infants in the experimental group who participated in the free play activity using natural objects showed statistically significantly higher scores in the creativity test score than the children in the control group.

Second, in the free play time of the actual educational field, the children are being taught small group activities based on the parent's result-based learning needs rather than playing their own interests or needs, and the teacher can grasp what the interests and needs of the children are. It was found that it had the limitations of the strategy it used.

Third, if the size of the outdoor play area is not very wide for the infant's play behavior and the size of the play area, it can be understood that the infant is wandering around and watching other infants' play, making it difficult to play with peers. there was.

Fourth, in order to obtain creative results, the inner environment (genetic environment factor, home environment factor) is a potential basis, and the developed cognitive ability (thinking ability, intelligence, perception) and the affective characteristics (personality, motivation) interact. I could grasp the appearance.

Fifth, it can be understood that free play using natural objects is free play that comprehensively considers various elements of creative products.

Sixth, it was found that it is very important to implement a teaching-learning program in kindergarten that considers the developmental characteristics of infants in free play using natural objects.

Seventh, interacting with nature and experiencing nature in infancy can help children understand nature and nurture a loved mind, and

through this, they can understand that they have emotional stability.

In summary, it can be understood that free play using natural objects is very closely related to the development of children's creativity and emotional intelligence. Free play using natural objects can be judged to directly affect creativity and emotional intelligence development by giving children the opportunity to develop their potential and potential through sensory experience-oriented activities in nature. Furthermore, it can be judged that free play using natural objects has a very positive effect on emotional stability.

The suggestion for follow-up research is that free play programs using natural materials are beneficial for harmonious growth, creativity development, and potential development for children. Therefore, in the field of early childhood education, it is important to focus on the process rather than the results of the infants and make efforts to express one's own discovery and emotion through the process. The study on free play programs using natural objects suggested that supplementary concrete programs were needed in various program configurations in terms of development of each child's creativity and emotional development, and that it was necessary to study effects.
