The purpose of this paper is to illuminate how the authors accepted and embodied Wangsogun according to their personal, social and political position, and to show the historical value of the literatures referring to Wangsogun.

From comparing the chinese books of 『Hanshu』, 『Houhanshu』, 『Xijingzaji』, 『Qincao』 referring to Wangsogun with poems referring to her written in Tang's and Song Dynasty, I extracted three aspects of embodiment of Wangsogun, and sorted Korean Chinese-literature into three types according to those aspects.

The first is to follow the traditional embodiment shown in 『Hanshu』, 『Houhanshu』, 『Xijingzaji』, 『Qincao』. They embodied Wangsogun into the form of a standard woman. In fact she was a tragic woman who was driven away out of Han's land by other's will, a faithful retainer who was not recognized by the king, nevertheless a woman with firm chastity who did not forget the grace of Han Dynasty.

The second is to reflect the evaluation of the ZhuXi. They emphasized the fidelity of a woman through embodying Wangsogun. Works written in Early Choseon Dynasty belong here. Works reflecting ZhuXi's thought was usually written then, because the early Choseon Dynasty was the age when they accepted ZhuXi's Neo-Confucian to lay the foundations of Choseon Dynasty.

The third is to reflect the values of Wanganseok, who estimated individual human feelings more highly than the fidelity of a woman. After Japanese invasion upon Choseon in 1592 AD, Neo-Confucian values began to falter and then works reflecting Wanganseok's thought, that emphasized human personal feelings, began to appear.

Last but not least, through the process of analyzing those three aspects of embodying Wangsogun's story, we can understand the change of patterns accepting Neo-Confucianism from Goryeo Dynasty to Choseon Dynasty. In addition, We can obtain information about the political situations and the trend of the spirit of an age in our history.
