본 연구는 학업성취도에 영향을 미치는 사회적 지지, 희망 및 우울증의 구조적인 관계를 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 초등학교 5-6학년 학생 770명이며 측정도구는 사회적 지지, 희망, 우울증 및 학업성취도이다. 구조적인 관계 분석에 앞서 변인들의 정규분포 여부를 검토한 결과 우울증과 학업성취도의 변인들이 왜도와 첨도에서 정규분포를 벗어나고 있어 Bootstrapping 방법으로 구조적인 관계 분석을 하였다. Bootstrapping 분석에서는 평균모수추정치와 추정치의 표준오차를 구했으며 Bootstrap percentile과 Bootstrap with biased corrected는 95% 신뢰구간을 제시하였다. 연구결과 사회적 지지는 희망에 정적인 영향을 미치고 있었고, 희망도 학업성취도에 정적인 영향을 미치고 있었다. 사회적 지지와 희망은 우울증에 부적인 영향을 미치고 있었고, 우울증도 학업성취도에 부적인 영향을 미치고 있었다. 매개효과를 살펴본 결과 사회적 지지는 희망과 우울증을 매개로 하여 학업성취도에 미치는 정적인 영향이 있었다. 희망도 우울증을 매개로 하여 학업성취도에 미치는 정적인 영향이 있었다. 연구모형을 검증한 집단과 교차집단 간에 교차타당도를 검증한 결과 집단간 교차타당도 지수가 적합하게 나타났고, 기저모형, 측정불변성, 구조불변성, 구조공변량, 구조잔차, 측정잔차에서 모두 동일한 것으로 나타나 교차타당도가 입증되었다.

The purpose of the study is to investigate the structural relationship among social support, hope, and depression on academic achievement of elementary school students. The subjects were 770 elementary school students who responded to the questionnaires, these were social support, hope, depression, and academic achievement test. When analyzed by the correlation, there were positive correlations among social support, hope, and academic achievement but depression had negative correlations with the variables. Before analyzing structural equation model, the researcher reviewed kurtosis and skewness to analyze normal curve. The result revealed that depression and academic achievement was out of normal curve. At the analysis of structural equation model, bootstrapping method which could process non-normal data was used to analyze bootstrapping estimate, bootstrap percentile, and bootstrap with biased corrected.

When analyzed by structural equation model, social support directly effected on hope and depression and indirectly effected on academic achievement by the mediation of hope and depression. Hope and depression directly effected on academic achievement and hope indirectly effected on academic achievement by the mediation of depression. The cross-validation index, ECVI, was good between the verification group of research model and cross-validation group, and when the researcher restrained two groups with measurement weights, structural weights, structural covariances, structural residuals, and measurement residuals, the two groups had equivalent values, so the cross-validation was confirmed.
