In recent days, while taller and more massive structures such as huge bridges have been welcomed, the structural stabilization in structural design and the construction of concrete structures has been gradually limited more and more by the major weakness of current concrete which is relatively heavier when compared with its strength. In this regard, the study is focused on suggestions for the development of aggregate-added lightweight concrete in strength.
According to the experiment, the American aggregate-added lightweight concrete is stronger than the Korean aggregated-added one. For the strength-enhancement of the Korean aggregate-added concrete, high-strength lightweight aggregate is absolutely necessary which can decrease the porosity and water absorption ratio mortar, which then, leads to the proper and efficient application of lightweight concrete to future buildings getting bigger and more massive.*표시는 필수 입력사항입니다.
