The purpose of this study is to investigate Chaos theory to see if Chaos theory has possibility for the paradigm of art education.

This study shows that Chaos theory is more realistic paradigm than traditional one, because first, the nature of art is chaotic, complex, and un-predictable like Chaos theory, and second, Chaos theory try to explain chaos, complexity, and un-predictability.

Chaos theory gives us useful information for nature of art and art education. It is threefold. First, it has the possibility of the new paradigm which include both the viewpoint of natural science and human science·social science. Second, it can help theory and practice be closely connected. Third, it can be the theory which can support the art and art education.
