The purpose of this study was to investigate the variation of stress related hormone and performance during shooting phase in national pistol player. For this study, korea national pistol players(age: 29.9±3.3 1year, height: 179.9±2.5cm, career : 15.7±3.4yr; BMI: 27.3±4.3, n=8) were participated and perform 60 shot during 1hr 45min. Usually 60shot is separated each 10 shot. In this study, all subjects were performed blood extraction by catheter from brachial vein and shooting performance with coaching machine. blood epinephrine and norepinephrine were gradually increased during shooting phase, but cortisol level was gradually decreased during shooting and recovery phase. Interestingly glucose level was increased during 4, 5, 6 shooting phase. and performance was significantly decreased during 1 shooting phase. In this study, we found tendency of national shooting players, which is that stress related hormones were exchanged during 60 shot during 1hr 45min; marked decreased in first shooting phase Thus, it required that further study to investigate the effect of controlling the stress on physiological change and performance in national shooting team
