초록보기

오늘날 중국과 러시아는 매우 긴밀한 우호 협력 관계를 유지하고 있다. 그러나 양국은 한때 그들의 국익이 충돌하여 심지어는 전쟁의 상황에까지도 이르렀었다. 중국 건국 직후 양국은 초기에 이데올로기의 동질성으로 인해 상호지원 하다가 이념 논쟁과 국경 분쟁으로 인해 충돌하였었다. 그 후 중국은 제국주의라고 비난하던 미국과 손을 잡고 개혁, 개방 정책을 수행하면서 경제 성장에 성공하였었는데, 소련이 붕괴하자 이에 위기의식을 느끼고 다시 정상적인 관계를 회복하였다. 강대국 미국에 대항하여 중․러 양국은 전략적 세력 균형 차원에서 협력하고 있으나, 부상하는 중국에 대해 일부 러시아 국민들은 반감을 나타내기도 한다. 그러나 미국이 건재하고 중국이 러시아를 존중하는 한 가까운 시일 내에 두 나라가 반목할 가능성은 없다고 보는 것이 올바른 판단일 것이다.

These days, China and Russia have been keeping a very close and friendly cooperative relations; however, both countries almost came to a war once due to the conflict for each of their national interests. Due to the homogeneity of the ideology, they had a mutual support at first, while having conflicts due to border disputes and ideological debate. Then China succeeded in the economic growth cooperating with the USA criticized of imperialism and establishment opening and reforming policy. China was aware of crisis as the Soviet collapsed and was restored to a normal relationship. Both China and Russia cooperate with each other for the balance of strategic power on fronting the USA; while some Russians have hostility for boosting China. But it is a right prediction that there’s no possibility that China and Russia are at feud with each other soon as long as the USA is still strong and China admires Russia.
