본 연구는 부모애착과 진로적응성의 관계에서, 정서지능과 진로결정자기효능감의 매개효과를 분석하였다. 이를 위하여 특성화고 학생 367명을 대상으로 부모애착이 정서지능과 진로결정자기효능감을 매개로 하여 진로적응성에 직간접적으로 영향을 주는 인과적 연구모형을 설정하고 모형의 적합도 및 개별변인의 영향력을 살펴보았다. 구조방정식모델링 실시 결과, 측정모형은 자료에 적합한 것으로 나타났으며, 연구모형에서 부모애착이 진로적응성을 정적으로 예측하고 이들 관계를 정서지능과 진로결정자기효능감이 완전 매개하였다. 나아가 진로적응성의 변량 80%는 부모애착, 정서지능, 진로결정자기효능에 의해 설명되는 것으로 나타나, 이들 변인이 진로적응성을 설명하는 중요한 변인임이 확인되었다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 상담 실제 및 후속 연구에 대한 시사점을 논의하였다.

The study analyzed the mediating effects of emotional intelligence and career decision making self efficacy in the relations between parental attachment and career adaptability. A convenience sample of 367 vocational high school students from four provinces was analysed. In order to accomplish this, a causal research model that explains how parental attachment directly and indirectly impact on career adaptability through emotional intelligence and career decision making self efficacy was installed and the goodness of fit for the model and influence of each variable were tested. According to the result, the measurement model was shown to be appropriate for the data. The research model showed that parental attachment positively predicted career adaptability with these relationships completely mediated by emotional intelligence and career decision making self efficacy. Furthermore, parental attachment, emotional intelligence, career decision making self efficacy explained 80% of the variance in career adaptability and these variables were found to be important variables explaining career adaptability. Based on the result, implications for career counseling and future research were discussed.
