본 연구는 성격심리학 수업이 거부민감성과 공감능력에 영향을 미치며 이들 간의 관계에서 정서인식명확성이 매개효과로서의 역할을 수행하는지 검증하는 것에 목적을 둔다. 연구대상은 교양 교과목으로 개설된 성격심리학 수업을 수강한 262명의 대학생을 대상으로, 사전-사후 검사 형식으로 실시하였다. 성격심리학 수업은 이론과 함께 학습한 내용을 자신에게 적용해보는 간단한 실습과 과제로 진행하였다. 그 결과 성격심리학 수업은 대학생의 정서인식명확성을 유의하게 증가시켰다. 또한 변수 간의 관계에 있어서도 수업을 진행하기 전에는 거부민감성과 정서인식명확성이 공감능력에 영향을 미치지 못했으나, 수업 사후에는 정서인식명확성이 거부민감성과 공감능력 간의 관계를 완전 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 거부민감성의 하위요인별 분석에서도 거부불안이 정서인식명확성을 부분 매개하여 공감능력에 영향을 미치고 수용기대는 정서인식명확성을 완전 매개하여 공감능력에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 성격심리학 수업 수강 전에는 대학생의 공감능력을 향상시키기 위해 거부민감성과 정서인식명확성을 중재 요인으로 이용할 수 없으나, 수업 후 정서인식명확성 향상을 통해 대인관계능력의 핵심인 공감능력을 향상시킬 수 있다는 것을 검증하였으며, 이를 토대로 이론적, 실무적 시사점을 제시하였다는 데 연구의 의의가 있다.
The purpose of this study was to examine the role of emotional clarity as a mediating effect in the relationship between personality psychology course and rejection sensitivity and empathy. The subjects of this study were 262 college students who took a personality psychology course as a liberal arts subject. The study was designed in the form of a pre-post test. The personality psychology course was conducted as a simple practice and task to apply the contents learned with the theory to oneself. The personality psychology course significantly increased the emotional clarity of subjects. In addition, rejection sensitivity and emotional clarity didn't affect empathy before the course. After the course, emotional clarity fully mediated the relationship between rejection sensitivity and empathy. In the analysis of sub-factors of rejection sensitivity, rejection anxiety partially mediated emotional clarity, affecting empathy, and acceptance expectation affected empathy by fully mediating emotional clarity. Rejection sensitivity and emotional recognition clarity cannot be used as mediating factors to improve college students' empathy before taking the personality psychology course, but the study can improve empathy, the core of interpersonal ability.번호 | 참고문헌 | 국회도서관 소장유무 |
