본 연구는 한국판 상태-특성 분노 표현 척도 2판의 타당화 연구로 수행되었다. 한국판 STAXI-2 (57문항)를 전국적 편의 표집(N=307명)과 환자 집단(N=81명)에게 실시한 결과, (1) 분노 경험(2 요인)과 분노 표현(4 요인)이 명확한 구조로 나타났으며, (2) 정서적 스트레스 검사와의 수렴 타당도와 변별 타당도가 확인되었으며, (3) 전반적으로 환자 집단이 일반 집단에 비해 높게 나타남으로써 한국판 STAXI-2가 타당한 검사로 나타났다. 또한 (4) 내적 일치도와 (5) 검사-재검사에서도 만족스러운 신뢰도를 보여주고 있었다. 이러한 결과는 한국판 STAXI-2가 의학, 간호학, 심리학을 비롯해 다양한 분야에서 유용하게 사용될 수 있는 척도임을 시사하고 있다.
