이 논문은 디지털 컴퓨터 공학 기술에 의해 전환된 현대 사회의 문화 현상을 사이버네틱스(cybernetics) 시대로 명명한 뒤, 이렇게 전환된 시대 현상에서 철학의 자리가 무엇인지 해명하고자 한다. 특히 사이버네틱스 시대를 대변하는 인공지능에 의한 지식 체계는 학문적이며 윤리적인 문제를 초래할 뿐 아니라, 인지 자본주의라는 용어에서 보듯이 사회적인 측면에서도 결코 간과할 수 없는 변화를 현실화시키고 있다. 철학이 자신의 지성으로 파악한 시대정신이라면 이 시대를 해명하는 지성적 작업을 반드시 필요한 철학적 과제 가운데 하나일 것이다.

이를 위해 이 논문은 먼저 사이버네틱스 시대의 현상과 내용을 분석한 뒤, 그것이 지성적 차원에서 초래하는 문제를 제기한다. 그런 관점에서 3장에서는 사이버네틱스 사고와 인간의 마음, 지성 사이의 동일성과 차이에 대해 논의한다. 여기서 가장 중요한 문제는 인공지능과 인간 지성의 본질적 차이에 관한 논의이다. 인공지능은 인간의 마음과 어떻게 같고 다른가, 여기서의 핵심적 질문은 지성의 자율성에 자리한다. 만약 인공지능이 인간의 지성과 같이 자율성을 지니지 못한다면 이 시대의 문제는 인공지능 그 자체라기보다 이를 소유하고 사용하는 인간의 문제에 지나지 않게 된다.

이런 논의를 바탕으로 사이버네틱스 시대 철학의 존재론적 자리와 내용, 그 과제는 무엇인지 제 4장에서 분석한다. 이 장에서는 이 시대를 사이버네틱스로 규정한 뒤 그 안에서 철학의 과제가 무엇인지 해명하려한 하이데거의 철학을 분석한다. 이를 토대로 해서 이 논문의 핵심적 주장인 사이버네틱스 시대 철학의 쟁점은 무엇인지 제 5장에서 해명할 것이다. 맺음말에서는 결론적으로 이 시대가 필요로 하는 철학의 전환과 철학적 문제의 핵심 주제에 대해 거론한다.

This paper, after designating the cultural phenomena of contemporary society transformed by digital computer engineering technology as the Cybernetics era, aims to elucidate the role of philosophy in this transformed era. In particular, the knowledge system represented by artificial intelligence, which characterizes the Cybernetics era, not only raises academic and ethical issues but also brings about undeniable changes on a societal level, as seen in the term "cognitive capitalism." If philosophy captures the spirit of the times with its intellect, then the intellectual work of explaining this era will undoubtedly be one of the necessary philosophical tasks.

To achieve this, this paper first analyzes the phenomena and content of the Cybernetics era and raises the problems it generates on an intellectual level. From this perspective, in Chapter 3, it discusses Cybernetic thinking, the human mind, and the identity and difference between intellect. The most crucial issue here is the discussion of the essential difference between artificial intelligence and human intellect. How is artificial intelligence similar to and different from the human mind? The key question in this context resides in the autonomy of intellect. If artificial intelligence lacks the autonomy characteristic of human intellect, then the problems of this era become more about the human issues of owning and utilizing it rather than artificial intelligence itself.

Based on this discussion, the ontological position and content of philosophy in the Cybernetics era and its tasks are analyzed in Chapter 4. In this chapter, after designating this era as the Cybernetics era, it examines Heidegger's philosophy, which attempts to elucidate the tasks of philosophy within it. Building upon this analysis, the central argument of this paper, which is the focal point of Cybernetics-era philosophy, will be explained in Chapter 5. In the conclusion, it is discussed how this era necessitates a transition in philosophy and the core themes of philosophical issues.
