이 연구는 한강 대권역의 물 공급량과 수요량 분석을 통해 시공간적 변화를 평가하였으며, 그에 영향을 미치는 요소를 파악하고 대응할 수 있는 물관리에 대한 정책적 방안을 제시하였다. 수도권과 같은 인구 밀집지역에 대한 물 수요와 공급 차의 공간적 변화를 통해, 토지이용 및 인구변화, 물 소비 관련 정책변화를 살펴보고 물 부족 현상을 진단하였다. 분석 결과, 인구와 토지이용 변화가 물 수요와 공급 차에 영향을 미치는 주요 요인임을 확인하였다. 특이한 변화를 보이는 서울, 성남, 용인의 공급과 수요 차 추세를 분석한 결과, 주요 영향 요인이 토지이용과 인구변화, 물 소비 패턴인 것으로 확인하였다.

This study analyzed water supply and demand changes in space and time in the Han River region and suggested water management policies to address the factors influencing them. By examining the spatial changes in the gap between water demand and supply in highly populated areas such as the metropolitan area, this study diagnosed the water shortage phenomenon caused by changes in land use, population, and water consumption policies. This study found that land use and population changes are the main factors affecting the water demand and supply balance. By investigating the gap trends in Seoul, Seongnam, and Yongin regions that showed abnormal changes, this study identified the main factors as land use, population change, and water consumption patterns.
