본 연구에서는 도덕과와 연계한 그림책 활용 사회정서학습이 초등 통합학급 학생의 사회정서역량과 학교생활만족도에 미치는 영향을 알아보았다. J도에 위치한 초등학교 통합학급에 배치된 3-4학년 학생 30명이 본 연구에 참여하였다. 실험집단 통합학급 학생들에게는 도덕과와 연계한 그림책 활용 사회정서학습을 주 2-3회씩 총 20회기에 걸쳐 실시하였다. 그 후 통합학급 전체 학생을 대상으로 사회정서역량과 학교생활만족도 검사를 활용하여 측정한 사전 및 사후 검사 결과를 토대로, 각각 공분산 분석과 독립표본 t-검정을 실시하였다. 그리고 장애학생을 대상으로 측정한 사회정서역량 및 학교생활만족도 사전-사후검사 점수를 기술통계표로 제시하였다. 연구 결과, 실험집단 통합학급 전체 학생들의 사회정서역량 및 학교생활 만족도에서 점수가 향상되었음을 확인하였다. 그리고 실험집단의 장애학생은 사회정서역량 점수의 향상을 보였지만, 학교생활만족도 점수는 감소하였음을 알 수 있었다. 마지막으로 논의의 과정을 통해 본 연구 결과의 의미를 해석해보았다.

In this study, we investigated the impact of social-emotional learning using picture books in connection with moral education on the social-emotional competency and school life satisfaction of students in elementary inclusive classes. Thirty students assigned to an inclusive class at an elementary school participated in this study. For students in the experimental group, social and emotional learning using picture books linked to the moral education was conducted 2-3 times a week for a total of 20 sessions. Afterwards, based on the pre- and post-test results measured using the social-emotional competency and school life satisfaction tests for all students in the inclusive class, covariance analysis and independent sample t-test were conducted, respectively. In addition, the social-emotional competency and school life satisfaction pre- and post-test scores measured for students with disabilities were presented in a descriptive statistics table. As a result of the study, it was confirmed that the scores of inclusive class students’ social-emotional competency and satisfaction with school life improved. And, although students with disabilities in the experimental group showed improvement in their social-emotional competency scores, their school life satisfaction scores decreased. Finally, the meaning of this study's results was interpreted through a discussion process.
