본 연구는 부모의 자율성 지지가 대학생의 심리적 행복감에 미치는 구조적 관계에서 긍정심리자본이 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 자기결정성 이론에 근거하여 검증하고자 한다. 아울러 이를 실증적 근거로 대학생의 심리적 행복감을 증진하기 위한 실천적 개입 방안을 모색하는 데도 연구목적이 있다. 연구방법은 부산광역시와 경상남도 지역의 대학생들을 대상으로 2023년 9월부터 2023년 11월까지 설문지를 배부하고, 결측치가 없는 289명의 자료를 바탕으로 SPSS 21.0과 AMOS 21.0 프로그램을 활용하여 통계적으로 분석하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 부모의 자율성 지지의 수준이 높을수록 심리적 행복감이 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 부모의 자율성 지지의 수준이 높을수록 긍정심리자본이 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 긍정심리자본의 수준이 높을수록 심리적 행복감이 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 간접적으로는 부모의 자율성 지지와 심리적 행복감의 관계에서 긍정심리자본은 부분매개효과가 있는 것으로 검증되었다. 이러한 연구결과는 예비 사회인인 대학생이 자기결정성을 높이고 심리적 행복감을 증진하기 위한 실증적인 근거를 제공해 줄 수 있는 함의가 있다고 본다. 따라서 직접적으로 부모가 대학생의 자율성 지지를 통하여 그들의 긍정심리자본과 심리적 행복감을 증진할 수 있도록 하는 부모교육 프로그램에 적용할 수 있고, 간접적으로는 가족구성원의 자기결정성을 증진할 수 있도록 조력하는 가족상담 및 가족치료에도 원용할 수 있는 실천적 근거가 될 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

This study aims to validate the role of positive psychological capital in the structural relationship between parental autonomy support and college students’ psychological happiness based on self-determination theory. The study also aims to explore practical interventions to promote psychological happiness among college students based on empirical evidence. The research method was to distribute questionnaires to college students in Busan Metropolitan City and Gyeongsangnam-do Province from September 2023 to November 2023, and statistically analyzed using SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 21.0 programs based on 289 data without missing data. The findings were as follows First, higher levels of parental autonomy support were associated with higher levels of psychological well-being. Second, higher levels of parental autonomy support were associated with higher levels of positive psychological capital. Third, higher levels of positive psychological capital were associated with higher levels of psychological happiness. Fourth, indirectly, positive psychological capital was found to have a partial mediating effect on the relationship between parental autonomy support and psychological happiness. These findings have implications for providing an empirical basis for enhancing self-determination and promoting psychological happiness in college students, who are pre-socialized adults. Therefore, it can be applied directly to parent education programs that enable parents to promote their positive psychological capital and psychological well-being through supporting college students’ autonomy, and indirectly to family counseling and family therapy to promote family members’ self-determination.
