본 연구는 예비전문상담교사와 현직전문상담교사의 교육실습 경험을 토대로, 전문상담 교육실습 내실화 방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 먼저 전문상담 교육실습에 참여했던 전문상담 예비교사와 현직교사를 대상으로 설문형식의 사전조사를 실시하였다. 이후, 설문에 참여한 현직전문상담교사 중 자발적 참여 의사를 밝힌 교사들을 대상으로 심층면담을 진행하여 사전조사 시 질문했던 내용을 보다 상세화하여 답할 수 있도록 하였다. 사전조사 및 심층면담 자료를 분석하여 통합한 결과, 전문상담 교육실습에 포함되어야 할 주요 내용 및 운영 개선방안으로 3개 영역, 9개 범주, 23개 핵심개념이 도출되었다. 구체적으로, ‘교육실습 내용 구성요소’ 영역에는 상담 실습활동, 상담 교육활동, 위(Wee)클래스 운영 및 행정활동의 범주가 포함되며, ‘교육실습 내용 조직방법’ 영역에는 윤리적 측면, 구조적 측면, 환경적 측면의 범주가 포함되고, ‘교육실습 운영을 위한 관계기관 협력방안’ 영역에는 실습학교의 역할, 교원양성기관의 역할, 교육(지원)청의 역할 범주가 포함되었다. 교육실습의 내용적 측면에서 구성요소 및 조직방법 뿐만 아니라 운영적 측면에서 관계기관에 기대되는 역할을 토대로, 예비전문상담교사의 현장 역량 강화를 위한 전문상담 교육실습 내실화 방안에 대해 논하였다.

This study explores approaches to improve the educational practicum for school counselor trainees by reflecting on the practicum experiences of pre-service and in-service professional school counselors. A preliminary survey was conducted among these counselors to capture their insights, followed by in-depth interviews with in-service professional school counselors. Data analysis yielded 3 main domains, 9 categories, and 23 key concepts. The ‘Practicum Content Components’ domain included categories such as counseling practice, counseling education, and Wee-class operation. The ‘Practicum Content Organizing Method’ domain included ethical, structural, and environmental aspects. The ‘Cooperation Plan with Related Agencies for Practicum Operation’ domain included categories such as the roles of training schools, teacher training institutes, and district offices of education. Based on the findings, the study offers suggestions for refining the educational practicum, aiming to bolster the practical competencies of pre-service school counselors.
