This article aims to explore Liu Cixin's novel “The Wandering Earth” from the perspective of space production and cultural representation. First, the author introduces the research background of the novel and explains its important position in the development of Chinese science fiction literature. Subsequently, the unique spatial narrative logic in the novel was analyzed, and how the author combined real space with science fiction to create a tense future world, inspiring people to think and imagine about future space. In the second part, it focuses on the description of scientific details and technical expressions in the novel, and how the author uses imagination to construct a narrative space that breaks through cognition and gives readers a unique survival experience. The third part explores the importance of emotional narrative in the novel. By describing the emotional experience of the protagonist, the author reflects the loneliness, fear and anxiety of human beings when facing survival crises, and deepens readers' resonance with the cultural representation space of the novel. Finally, the novel explores the dilemma of human nature in technological time and space, emphasizing the author's questioning of human beliefs and self-perception, as well as his thoughts on the inheritance of life and civilization. To sum up, “The Wandering Earth” depicts science fiction landscapes, triggers readers' profound thinking about the future and human nature, and demonstrates the artistic charm of space narrative in science fiction literature.
