본 연구에서는 학습용 에이전트로서의 가상인간이 한국의 다문화 사례를 소개하는 동영상 콘텐츠를 개발하였다. 동영상 콘텐츠는 다문화 학부모와 일반 학부모를 포함한 전체 학부모를 대상으로 한 학부모 다문화교육 프로그램에서 교육자료로 활용할 목적으로 개발된 것이었다. 교육자료 개발을 위한 전체적인 연구는 ‘학부모 대상의 요구분석’, ‘내용 구성’, ‘동영상 콘텐츠 개발’의 절차로 진행되었으며, 학부모 대상의 다문화교육 연수 프로그램 요구분석 결과를 보고한 권미경, 성기욱(2023)과 권미경, 서은숙(2024)의 후속연구로서의 본 연구는 학부모 다문화교육 동영상 콘텐츠의 내용 구성과 콘텐츠 개발에 대한 결과를 보고하였다. 또한, 본 연구는 내용 구성과 동영상 콘텐츠 개발의 과정에서 전문가 검토를 시행한 결과를 제시하였다. 내용 구성에 대한 전문가 검토를 통해 가상인간의 형상화 및 화면구성의 초기 설정 방향과 관련한 전문가의 의견을 수집하고, 이를 반영하여 동영상 콘텐츠(초안)를 개발하였다. 이후 교육전문가로 구성된 전문가집단의 콘텐츠 평가를 통해 내용 구성과 교수 설계에 대한 평가를 받은 후, 이를 반영하여 최종 동영상 콘텐츠를 개발하였다.
